I searched to see if any of you had posted anything about this anywhere on the board, but while bored and taking a break from homework I was looking up The Legend of Korra when I noticed that Aang's son is named Tenzin. Here's the connection I made, Monk Gyatso was basically Aang's father figure, his son is Tenzin and Tenzin Gyatso is of course the Dalai Lama.

Very sneaky Nickelodeon, I almost didn't catch it.
