So, how do you change your little rankings? Right now, there the water symbol, but I'd like them to be fire . . .

Not sure if it's my place to say, but the symbols themselves don't change. They do increase when you reach a certain amount of posts, but as far as I know, only the admins have fire-shaped symbols, and the moderators have the water-shaped symbols.

Just confirming what Yuriko has posted. The titles and images you see are post ranks and for members, they change based on the number of RP-related posts you have. They don't have any indication on your character(s) Nation or bending affiliation, and are mainly just there for fun. :]
For the staff, they're just pretty pictures to go under our staff ranks and don't really mean anything either :]
