Name: Xiaoyu "Xiao" Shipachi
Age: 22
Appearance: Standing at five feet, eleven inches, Xiaoyu Shipachi is a very tall woman, indeed; amber eyes are playful under full, thick lashes, her lips curved in an everpresent grin. Xiaoyu is often mistaken for her brother, Hatsuharu Shipachi, except for the fact that she is well endowed with female anatomy. Often times, when they were little, Xiao and Haru were mistaken for twins. Xiao loves to wear anything red and revealing (to match her long red hair), and can often be seen in a flashy kimono.
Personality: Xiaoyu is very different from her brother in terms of personality. She likes hard work, though she despises fighting. Often, she uses her good looks to get what she wants, and has consequently been labled as a "user." However, Xiao is quite a compassionate girl, caring for her brother after Suuya, their father disowned him for being homosexual. She's relatively easy going, but has a temper to match her firey red hair.
History:
Born to Kiteru and Suuya Shipachi, Xiaoyu was the first of two children. She was her father's pride and joy, interested from a young age in the family business — blacksmithing. Even without any firebending skills, Xiao would often help her father in the smithy, carrying as big a load as she could.
When Xiao was two, her little brother was born. Glad to finally have someone to play with, Xiao abandoned helping her father, choosing instead to spend all her time with Hatsuharu. Suuya didnt mind much; after all, she was a girl and not expected to carry one the family business.
Xiaoyu grew up to be a great beauty, refusing suitors left and right, preferring instead to dance; often, she and Hatsuharu would put on shows for the neighbors; Haru would firebend while she danced to music the servants played.
One day, Hatsuharu revealed that he had "romantic inclinations" toward men. Suuya disowned him on the spot, banning him from the Shipachi household. Kiteru and Xiao couldnt abandon Haru though, and continue to support him financially, giving him money to start his own tea shop in the outskirts of Fire Nation territory.
Xiao has stayed at home, keeping her mother company, and walking on eggshells around her father. She longs to see the world, though, and would love to perform professionally. However, she doesnt want to leave her mother alone with her father, so in the Fire Nation she stays.
Who knows though; with Hatsuharu traveling around, he might send her a message to meet him somewhere!
