Name: Nanashi (last name unknown)
Occupation: Hitokiri (assassin)
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Appearance: Black hair; amber eyes; slim, yet atheletic build. Roughly 5 feet, four inches.
History: At the age of five, a girl with black hair and amber eyes watched in horror from under the stairs as her Galgori parents were murdered by a small group of Fire Benders. A kind "retired" warrior, Hideki Kagetsu, found her the next morning standing in front of her house, crying. Hideki, guessing correctly that she was the daughter of the murdered couple, took her in. She refused to speak her name to him, so he christened her "Chiyuu" after his mother. Hideki, although no longer an active warrior, still practiced his budo (fighting style). Day after day, Chiyuu watched. Finally, she demanded to be taught. Hideki (evntually) obliged. From the ages 5-12, Chiyuu stayed with Hideki, learning from him. Shortly after her 12th birthday, he sent her to a training camp, for her mind was twisted and hell-bent on revenge. Being a girl, she had to prove herself worthy, however, and she proceeded to do so by challenging and defeating the head sensei in the camp. Once accepted, she became the best student--she mastered six different ultimate moves in addition to her budo, earning her the nickname "Nanashi," meaning Seven (nana) Deaths (shi). She is now 22, and her pseudonym "Chiyuu" has been forgotten--and to this day, no one knows her true (birth) name.
