Name: Musashi ,

Age: 18

Appearance: Thin and wiry, Musashi has unusually long arms and legs, giving him a gangelly (sp?), clumsy appearance. He tries to where reversible clothing whenever possible, and he takes great care to ensure that the majority of his body is covered at any time a possible enemy could be observing him so none of his features are easily identifiable at a later time. He carries with him a bamboo walking stick slightly over four feet long, and walks with a carefully practiced fake limp that seems just severe enough to make him need a walking aid and prevent him from running, while not bad enough to seem as if he should be slower then most people while walking. In the tip of the bamboo staff is a hefty steel spike that's spring-loaded into the inside of the short-staff. A carefully packed inch of dirt conceals it from sight, while a small plug on the top of the staff serves as the release to the spring. While being only a single shot weapon, a kunai can easily be inserted into the end after the spike is launched, allowing the weapon to be used as either a short spear or a javelin. Several replacement darts and kunai are hidden on him at all times.

Background: Musashi was raised in a fire nation village that housed a pair of Galgori families, training in secret with and against the only other person he could, a youth by the name of Lui-wei. The rivalry between these two boys was fierce, though they neither had any direct animosity towards the other. They just each felt the need to try and beat the other.

For every skill that Musashi failed at, Lui-wei succeeded. Uncharacteristicly for most Galgori warriors, Musashi was terrible in all manners of stealth, and was barely proficient with kunai and shurikans. But every time it came to hand to hand fighting or larger weapons, Musashi's speed, agility, and reach where enough to overpower Lui-Wei. When time came to take the trials, Musashi had already started on the very first forms of Dim Mak, though his training in it was kept very brief in case he failed the trials.

He passed the trials without much in the way of notoriety, being neither the best or the worst to perform, and he returned to his village with Lui-wei, who had also passed the training. He began anew, moving on to more dangerous and advanced techniques, most focusing on first strike kills and tracking over long distance, as his inability to sneak at any decent level of proficiency lingered with him.

Two years after he passed the trials, at the time that he was about to leave to search out other masters, he and Lui-wei where sent out to take care of any lone targets of opportunity on a trade road about two days travel away. The mission went relatively well, and before they had left to return to the village they had managed to isolate and kill a small number of benders each. Unknown to them at the time, their last killing was observed by a group of White Lotus warriors on their way to Jinkiri.

A few days after they returned, just as Musashi was stepping out to try and find the Dim Mak master by the name of Inoue, there was a small, fierce battle in the other Galgori house. As Musashi sprinted over to try and help, another raiding group assaulted his own house. Torn between helping his own family and the larger group that might have a better chance of survival assuming that both assault groups where equal sizes, his moments hesitation cost him the time it would have taken to save either family. He burst into Lui-wei's home only to find all of them dead or dying, and in his shock he quickly fell before the Lotus ambush.

When he woke later, it was to find himself caged alongside his mortally wounded mother and Lui-wei, who looked as if he would survive, but was still very close to death. Over the next few weeks the three of them where tortured, his mother dying within the first four days of imprisonment. As time passed and they failed to gain any useful information from either of the two survivors, the beatings turned to cutting and branding. The only reason his face as relatively free of scars was their restraint from causing damage that could possibly prevent speech.

After five weeks of this daily treatment, Lui-wei broke down, revealing the name of another village that held Galgori. Musashi, enraged at the betrayal, managed to work his hands around to in front of himself by dislocating his arms, and proceeded to kill the three Lotus members holding them with Dim Mak before passing out. While he was unconscious, Lui-wei unbound them both and hid them both in one of the worse sections of Jinkiri. As soon as Musashi was awake and able, he approached Lui-wei and executed him in his sleep, taking his body and throwing it into the sea with weights attached to his body.

He scoured the city for the place they were held, and ransacked it, looking for information on other members of the order. He stayed at Jinkiri recovering, occasionally killing a Fire bender and keeping tabs on the Lotus members he had found documents on. He only succeeded in killing one before the searches for him got to close and he left the city, reconnecting with the Galgori Enclave.

Personality: Like nearly all other Galgori, Musashi displays very little in the way of emotions. Even though he remains impassive the majority of the time, he is very proud of his skill, and will take the opportunity to display it whenever it would be reasonable to take a life without using his weapons. He does diverge from standard Galgori personality by speaking the truth, almost exclusively, the only exception would obviously being when on the hunt against a bender. He hates the White Lotus guild, and will deter from an assigned mission to take down a member if he has the chance.
