Name: Akita (Agita is her other self)
Age: 28 years old
Appearance: She has long brown hair that go down her back, tied behind her neck with a blue wire, and a strand of her on her right eye when she's Akita, on her left eye when she's Agita. She has blue eyes, which are bright and shiny when she's Akita, but sharp and deep when she's Agita. She's 5 foot 7 inches tall, she has a sexy body, with a nice shape, but it's also shaped to protect (herself, that is). And she has a tattoo on her back that shows wings.
She's beautiful, but her eyes and her charm actually do all the job. She wears the same clothes as all the Kyoshi inhabitants. But she also has two waterskins on her waists, and special gloves she designed herself. Sometimes, she also wears the traditional Kyoshi warrior's outfit (without the make-up)
History: She was born on Kyoshi Island. Her ancestors were from the Southern Water Tribe. When the war started, they decided to leave the South Pole and find a place where they would be safe. They ended up in Kyoshi Island, and settled there.
Akita is an only child. She was feeling lonely all the time. She wasn't the kind of person who was going towards people. That's when her other self began manifesting itself. At first, she didn't realize it, but her parents did. That's why they made her undergo Kyoshi warrior training. They told her about the past of their family when her Waterbending awoke. It made her feel better, for some time. One day, on a fishing trip, she got hurt by the Unagi, on the hands. And when she put them in the water, they healed right away. She thus discovered that she had healing abilities. Unfortunately, her parents died shortly afterwards, and she felt guilty for not being able to act. With the help of other friends of her parents, they gave them funerals. Akita had made a bracelet for her mother when she was a kid. She put it on her corpse, so she would be with her forever.
She was also undergoing harsh training for her mind. It was exhausting and she wasn't tough enough to bear with this. She had rather read and draw instead of fighting. Plus she became attractive and boys began looking at her differently. She felt very lonely, and that when her other self developped. She named herself Agita. She was very different from Akita. She was almost her opposite, actually. When they first made contact, Agita tried to take over the body, but since it belonged to Akita in the first place, she diidn't succeed. But Akita realized that Agita was able to do all the things she couldn't. And she was a presence too. She wasn't an only child anymore, somehow. So, instead of destroying her, she accepted her and they made a deal. They would share this body and be united. This way they would be perfect. They also decided a way to figure out which one of the two was controlling the body. When the right eye was hidden, Akita was in charge, but when the left eye was covered, it was Agita's turn. They decided to use strands of hair to switch. Akita was able to learn a lot of things about culture, intelligence, behavior, and healing while Agita learned the way to Waterbend for fighting and several tricks that have to do with that stuff. The good thing about it was that now, Akita didn't need to sleep anymore. Agita was playing the role of her subconscious, and it was like she was asleep when they were switching, though they still needed to rest anyway. To make that bond a little tighter, when she was 21 years old, she made a tattoo on her back that shows wings, but one is an angel's while the other's a demon's.
When word came that the Avatar had returned, Akita decided to leave Kyoshi Island. She wasn't there when he appeared on Kyoshi. She had gone fishing, and when she came back, he was already gone, and the Fire Nation had attacked one of the villages. That's when she fixed her resolve. As the Kyoshi Island had left in order to fight in the war, she too would leave looking for her own purpose, j She left Kyoshi Island on a Fisherman's boat, with her special gloves (they get easily soaked, and they have wires wapped around the wrists that are useful when used with water) and two waterskins for Agita, a notebook and a picture book for Akita. When the capital fell, she hid in Gaoling.
Personalities: Akita is nice and clever. She's often naive and silly, but it's because she tries to think things through and it doesn't always work. She's too nice, and that's a kind of problem. She doesn't care really much about boys, she prefers girls' company. And she has much interest in whatever has to do with wisdom. That's why she has a better sense of justice than her other self. Agita is her opposite. She's nice through seduction, but she's rarely sympathetic, except with men. She's like a maneater. She's a lot more confident, and stronger than Akita. She has a straight mind and often rushes over things. While Akita looks at the sky, Agita looks at the ground. Agita is selfish, but cares about Akita more than herself. Since they're an only child, they try not to argue, to avoid ever feeling lonely. They often discuss when thinking something over. And they also try to agree on when to switch to the other. They both understand that they need each other, and that the other also has needs. But they also know that Akita was the first owner of the body. Agita was born thanks to Akita.
