Age: 14
Appearance: Michiyo's hair is as black as the dark sky, with under tones of blue in it. She has navy blue eyes, speckled with black. She is the exact same height as her twin sister, if not as beautiful. She wears a long, dark blue tunic, with slightly large pants of the same color. She wears a black cape, which is hooded. Her hair usually covers her eyes, which are set in a narrow face, and she rarely smiles. She is the complete opposite of her twin, Kumiko.
History: Michiyo was born on a remote isle, and was raised mostly by her mother, a water bender from the North Pole. Her father left when she was very young, to go to war. Michiyo's mother payed special attention to her, for Michiyo had great potential in water bending. Her mother taught her just about everything she knows, including her remarkable knowledge about plants and herbs. She can heal, but does not like to brag about it. When Michiyo grew older, her mother taught her how to use a bow, although Michiyo wasn't that good at it. When her father returned to the island to check on them, her mother fell ill and died in her father's arms. He spent much more time with Kumiko than Michiyo, but Michiyo knew that her mother had ignored Kumiko most of the time, so it was fair enough. Sooner than she expected, though, their father had to go back to the Navy, and they were left alone to fend for themselves. Kumiko and Michiyo had always had a special bond, though, so they got along fine. Michiyo always knows where Kumiko is, and can sometimes sense her emotions, if they are strong. She would do anything to protect her sister, and Kumiko would do anything to protect her.
Personality: Michiyo is distant and aloof, and does not like to be disturbed or questioned. The only people she truly cares about are her family. She likes to read, and does not like sunlight, and does not sleep at night that often. She likes to stare at the moon, and knows all the star constellations by memory.
