Appearance: Erikai is about six feet tall, and is a little skinny. He has the dark skin that is common in the Water Tribes. He has messy black hair that he rarely takes care of, other than the occasional self hair cut. He has dark blue eyes, and a bright smile. He wears the dark blue and white tunic of the Northern Water Tribe, and matching pants. He carries a large water skin, going from his left shoulder to his right hip. On his left hip, he carries a pair of butterfly swords, both blades concealed in a single scabbard.
History: Erikai was born in the northern Earth Kingdom, but follows his mothers culture, that of the Northern Water Tribe. His mother fell in love with a man from the earth kingdom, a fisherman. They married at the North Pole, but they left to live in the Earth Kingdom. His mother was a waterbender, and had to hide her abilites. Erikai grew up helping his father on his boat, the Red Koi, which gave him a love of water. When he was three, his sister was born. He discovered his talent as a waterbender when he was five, and his mother began training him, in secret. His mother first taught him the art of healing, which she knew best. He never became very skilled in this particular branch of water bending, so his mother tried her best to teach him some of the basics of fighting. Without a formal master, his form isn't very good. Currently, he is more skilled at bending ice than liquid water. Though he loved water bending, he knew that he couldn't always rely on it to save him. He began his training with swords at age nine. His father eventually bought him real swords, the blades he carries today. They learned that his sister was also a bender when he turned ten. He helped his mother train her in the art of waterbending. She was a much quicker learner than he had been and eventually surpassed him. When he was fourteen he found himself with the urge to fight the Fire Nation. He left in secret, at night, stealing away to fight in the war, disguised as an earth kingdom teen. He soon grew homesick and left when he turned fifteen. When he returned home, to his horror, he learned that the Fire Nation had came. Many people were missing, including his family. He is now scouring the continent to find his family.
Personality: Erikai is usually level headed and calm but his temper can get ahold of him. He can be cocky and loud mouthed. He is a quick thinker, and is cool under stress. He has no love for the Fire Nation and tries to cause as much damage to their effort whenever possible in his travels. He has some natural traits of a leader, he is brave, and can make the difficult decisions. He feels alone in the world, but is always willing to make new friends. He is fairly trusting, but he holds grudges. He is excellent at motivating others, and is very protective of those he cares about.
