He is approximatly five foot eleven. Has the beginnings of a moustache, beard, and sideburns. He has dark brown hair. He wears a tank top under a tunic because his body is trained for combat. He wears heavy boots and a pair of leather gloves (except when earthbending). He has rather delicate and non-callused hands for an earthbander because he workes in a merchant store. He has a hard lined face and a big nose. (Don't ever talk about the mole on the left-side of his chin unless you want to anger him.) He has a bruise on his cheek from a recent fire nation punch. His boots are open on the bottom though it doesn't look that way from the sides.

Sklaton was born and raised in Ba sing se. So was his family. In fact they had been living there for generations. But they were always in the lower-ring. Sklaton was to be the one to go to the middle ring. When he was little he was always fascinated by stories. Particularly true stories. His father got a lot of news at the merchant shop as he worked with his grandfater. They used that information in their stories. The best story that Skalton ever heard was one called "The return of the avatar." His mother raised him in there house for most of his life until he was twelve. Then he helped in his shop. He was saving his money all his life for a house in the middle ring. He was just handing the money to the seller when he was eighteen when a fir nation tank rolled past. Scince that day he has vowed to free his city, throw the fire nation troops back into their boats, and buy his house!!! He has started to delve as best he can into the secrets of why Ba sing se fell by listining in at his store. All he knows so far is that it was not an outside attack. About two weeks after he learned this little tid bit he thought it best to leave the city and travel abroad for answers. He has planned to sneak out alone and see the world and try to help the resistance movments while seeing the world.

He is very outgoing, passionate, hating the fire nation but not wanting to kill a lot of people. He loves to earthbend and to travel around the old ba sing se. He wants to join any resistance in any other areas of the old earth kingdom. He also wants to see its wonders. He loves to see things out of the ordinary and will go out of his way to see them. He has a burning passion in his heart to get rid of the fire nation in his land. He has that passon because he wants his house back. He has no real plan on how to do that however. He won't admit it but he is happy go lucky and will try his hardest to GET IT DONE!!! (Getting it done is also his motto.)
