Plot Update 10 March 2021

A year has passed since Fire Lord Zuko ascended the throne, and it seems like trouble is brewing between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom once more. The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

Okay, I'm trying not to freak out here, but it looks like Nick ordered 26 more episodes for Korra. As in, 2 more seasons after season 2. I don't know how official this is, but I'm flailing in joy all the same.

According to that, Nick's up to 4 seasons with this news. I'll be more excited when I see something from Nickelodeon, but that is from EW. Exciting, but still, I'd prefer to see it from Nick directly and then get even more excited.

Thanks for the link, though, Tenshio!

According to the article, it's already renewed for a second season, and then just got billed for two more after that. Like I said, it's from EW not Nick, so I"ll be happier when I see something from Nick directly. :)

That sounds pretty darn awesome, but what do you think they would do for the next three seasons? Also, "Set to return in 2013" Aw man!

Well, the return in 2013 makes sense, if they're doing one a year. I've been scouring the mystical land known as Google for any sort of official Nick confirmation of this, but haven't found anything. There are people saying that the article is badly written and that all that was ordered was the second Book that we already knew about (as is, the other 14 episodes of the original 26 planned) but without word from Nick I really have no idea what's actually happening.

The way it's going to work, apparently, that each "season" is a different book. These episodes were "Season 1 Book 1"; next set of episodes are "Season 1 Book 2". The 26 episodes just announced are for season two, which will also be split similarly, hence the "four books". :]

I understood that much, like how A:TLA was water, earth, and then fire. But the big problem in RC has been solved.

Edit: It posted itself without all that I typed. Like, what else could they do now that Amon is gone, Korra can return bending, and Tenzin is probably the head honcho of RC.

I just saw the news from the Korra Facebook page! I'm so glad Nick's decided to do this, seeing how popular the series is! Yes, I am definitely curious at what the series is going to consist of now, but I'm not worried. I highly doubt that Michael and Bryan would disappoint us!

Bryan Konietzko posted on Tumblr explaining why they added more episodes and why Nick is being confusing and calling them seasons rather than books.

O.o Was this thread here all along ? I need to fix my eyes... or my laptop.

I just watched this. It's a teaser about the second book, with early stage animations and sound effects, but the voice acting is excellent... and quite frankly it'll make you want to see it in full version.

Argh, my drool is reaching the floor !
